well out on a nice drive today i decided to go out to kaka point in kaiterteria {spelling}
people who live in nelson will know . when i got up there their was the normal people up there {stoners}. i walked over to the fence line, looked down and 'hello' there was this house
its in a little bay called 'honeymoon bay' i wonder whats happens down there?
so who's up for a bit of skinny dippin

looks like the house movers lost that one off the barge between suburbia A and suburbia B in the 70's

There is also a number of nearly identical brick and tile houses on Kawau Island.
Bizzare choice of material for remote locations.

I think there was a brick works on kawau though. (or at least the was a manganese or copper mine)

I think that such industry was gone by the end of the 19th century. These are definately 60s era constructions.
Regardless of where the bricks were made, there is no road or anything so the bricks would have had to come in on a barge.

sadly yes but no riding to cold, went for a 4 day hike tho , and yes once i have my bike going may go for a blap up there maybe when summer hits.
