Ok here it is. I have a Sony DVD camera, and the original software sucks esra. So much so that I can't stream footage onto my computer. So the alternative is to finalise the DVDRW (not a problem) and put it into the dvd drive of my computer, so no problems there as my dvd playing software plays it. Now of course I want to edit the footage on it, however I need a programme that'll let me edit the VOR file that it is recorded in on the dvd (apparently the original software was meant to convert it to MPEG). I downloaded Ulead Movie makerdvd 4 trial version, it seems to everything right up until this (see pic), I can't begin to import, the option is not clickable, (also there is a video image in the black area which is normally viewable in the programme). I just want to know if anyone has the software and whether the fact that I have the trial version is influencing this procedure and will buying the software correct this? Their help section has nothing on this.
