Things get better the further south you go!
[excluding Ohai though.]

Fleurs restaurant at Moeraki was the worst service I have ever experienced (at a restaurant).
The waitresses had PDA's, so you'd think they could get an order right? Wrong.
They missed half the order, got the other half wrong and walked around for 10 minutes looking for the right table. By the time it got there the hot drinks were cold.
The tea was bought out with an empty milk jug (which was never filled with milk). The softdrinks only appeared on the third ask (apparently they were backed up making coffee, maybe only one person there could open the fridge).
And no the place wasn't overrun, it wasn't even busy. !!!

interesting. We had completely the opposite experience: waitress had great personality, PDA's worked flawlessly, service was great, food was excellent, and everything reasonably priced. So good that Nicki tipped the waitress in fact.
I left her a tip as well, but since I have leprosy, its just not the same.

Hmmm. Maybe we turned up after a weed session? (theirs, not ours).
But yes I haven't found anywhere with better riding than Central.

I heard a rumour (from a reasonably reliable source) that it has been moved to the 9th of April after a change in the Hamner race... anyone know.
Back to the point... I am gonna miss riding at Naseby, it was so much fun and has so many memories and I will be back for the 12 hour!

I heard a similar rumour (from a v. reliable source too). But there's nothing on the interwebby about it except the old date. So I stuck with dat for discussions-sake

Nooooo, any date but the 9th.
I have a wedding in Qtown that night (not mine), but clashing with a massive Naseby event would take the shine off.
