Does anybody know if there are any downhill/good public places to ride in hamner?
I'm not into xc but I might be going up there soon and was wondering about taking my bike.
Thanks

theres a bunch of tracks all over the place, your best bet is just to ehad into the trees out the back, and ride around. I always find something new to amuse my self with. If that gets boring, then hire one of them 4 wheel bikes and take it trail riding.

Hanmer is pretty close to being mtb heaven. There are tracks everywhere, but if you aren't into XC, you will need a ride to the tops of Jack's Pass (smooth and fast) or Jollies' Pass (gnarly).
