Hi guys,
We are finally here, we bought our van and are ready to assemble our bikes and ride. What are the rides in the Chch area?
We have our xc bikes but we can ride sligh dh and freeride.
How do we get to the port hills trails and are they nice?
Let us know if we should be aware of any group rides in the area or if someone wants to come and ride with us.

Theres tracks out at bottle lake in burwood which is flat twisty stuff with some tiny hills, the port hills tracks are quite expansive, lots of good stuff around victoria park, which is south from the centre of town, basically you go down colombo st (main st in town) and keep going til you get to the hill and drive up it, vid park is on your left and theres tracks around to the right too, you should meet up with the crew tonight and we can give you better directions

Um No........we ride up from the bottom, Which would normally mean we'd meet at the bottom of the hill. 
The meeting place is my place, but if there starts to get to many people we'll meet at the bottom of Rapaki. Gotta be careful how many people know where I live. Place might get burnt down or something

Hi Guys,
Thanks a lot for the invite. We did not get your message in time but we also rode yesterday at 7 pm, up rapaki and then down the singletrack with someone we met earlier that day. It was great!
People are so friendly over here we just met this guy shopping for a coffee plunger and he showed us around the trails. We had a amazing time.
let me know of the next ride and we will be there for sure.

hey if your into dh just join the grom group, not all little kids sum peeps are like 23 and sum1 is 16 etc. we hav a weekly group ride at vicrotia park, but not one this weekend cause of the secondary skools race but there might be, check the rides forum for it, "chch grom ride"'
