OK, so Littleman has brought a PS1 into the flat, and now we just seem to work, ride, eat, play GT2, and sleep (sound alright when I put it like that - I suppose I should add I surf Foam - obviously)

Anyway, you know how you start GT2 with $10,000 and you have to buy a car - well to start with I got a Mitsi Cyborg, which went quite well until I could ditch it for an Impreza.

After I frotted up the Sub I needed a low horsepower car for the GT B-License circuits so I got a Mitsi FTO - which I was pretty damn impressed with - not a bad bang for the buck.

Littleman fired up GT2 tonight and went for an old RX7 'cos it had rear wheel drive, turbo and comes at over 200 horses. Personally I've had tihs luck driving RWD...

But it's got me thinking... there must be some sweet sub 10 grand cars out there in GT2 - and some of you guys must play the game....

So... any favs, pet hates (parc MR2 tihse)? Any godlike cars of frottiness?

Tell me tell me tell me...

Yer onto a good thing with the FTO, the other goodie I've found was a honda prelude. Lotsa grunt and not a lot of weight, biggest problem is you can't drop the clutch on it or it just spins.

However my personal fave is the FTO, I managed to clean up two-thirds of the game in one of those I fully tweaked (race kits etc...) tehn I moved up to a GT-R with all the gucci stuff. Oh baby, think I had it at aroun 970HP before the memory card packed a sad.

Littleman was using a FTO for his A License last night and was impressed as well. He said they came in 4WD and FWD - mine is a FWD model (red of course) - I use the Sub for my 4WD stuff. Is your FTO 4WD or FWD?

Did 1000m in just over 22sec yesterday in the Sub, just got a customisable gearbox I've gotta fiddle around with - it's tapping out at 226kph at the moment - gets there real fast though. Tongue it

Littleman has some Jap 2nd hand as an all time fav (he's clocked the game,) but damned if I can remember the name of it.

You could re-invent yourself as a Taranaki Wildman, with your faithful dog by your side, a big truck for flipping into ditches, and the smell of kumara and kune kune stew wafting from the stains on the front of your bushshirt...

I have all the symptoms of not having a life - websurfing, GT2 addiction, playing www.rockstargame.com... so I was thinking of rectifying this by stalking someone with a life, killing them, and then disguising myself with their skin.

Is this still a socially acceptable option? Eh?

Ive had good luck with the Nissan Primera cos it handles well and has reasonable grunt, but the RX7 has the turbo so you can go further with it before ya have to move up to a newer/gruntier car. Also the Toyota Levin/Corolla thing is good cos its real lite and stops on a dime!!
But cut the parc the best car is still the Subby Cosco Impreza,it might not be the fastest in a straight line but you dont have to slow down for 1/2 the corners!!!!!!!!!! Satan

My current problem is the damn British "Trial Mountain" course, I'm trying to win a sub 196bhp race and that gnikcuf Mini keeps on nailing me by ½ a second, it corners like it's on rails - but I can catch up on the straights...

...unfortunately Trial Mountain is mostly corners Sad

I'm using the FTO but can't quite haul it around corners, strangely enough the 323 4WD was an idea that crossed my mind, but you can only get the hatchback as new for $18,000 or something.

The Corolla/Levin was another thought (great minds think alike) for it's said turning ability, can you turbo these?
