These awards have been created to give New Zealand mountain bikers a chance to celebrate those in our community who keep the whole sport ticking along. Please pass this address on to all your mountain biking friends.

You do not have to be registered on Vorb to vote.


Voting will run until the end of 2004 and results/ tearful photos/ acceptance speechs will be broadcast on www.vorb.org.nz from 7pm Wednesday 26th January 2005. It won't be a black tie occassion, but you're definitely all invited.

The summer issue of Spoke Magazine will also have the results. You can subscribe to Spoke here spoke.vorb.org.nz - or pick it up at your local bike shop.

Most Outstanding New Zealand Mountain Biker
Who do you nominate as the mountain biker that has made the biggest positive contribution to the sport of mountain biking in New Zealand for 2004? They could be a racer, skilled rider, trail builder, event organiser, advocate, coach or anyone else involved in mountain biking.

Most Outstanding Local Mountain Biker
Who do you nominate as the mountain biker that has made the biggest positive contribution to the sport of mountain biking in your region for 2004? They could be a racer, skilled rider, trail builder, event organiser, advocate, coach or anyone else involved in mountain biking.

Most Outstanding Local Junior Mountain Biker
Who do you nominate as the junior (under 20 years old) mountain biker that has made the biggest positive contribution to the sport of mountain biking in your region for 2004? They could be a racer, skilled rider, trail builder, event organiser, advocate, coach or anyone else involved in mountain biking.
