OK people - this is going to be quite a major change to Vorb. I've been toying with the idea of totally revamping the forums - and after a lot of discussion with various people have decided that it's worth a shot.

OK - the initial changes have been made. If you check out the Vorb Forum Index you'll notice a drastic reduction in the number of forums.
I've had a lot of feedback over the past few months over the number of forums and people seemed to fall into these categories:
* They use Mini Vorb or Last 5 Active Posts - so don't even notice the seperate forums.
* They find the vast number of forums confusing and overwhelming.
So I've conglomerated the forums into very very broad topic bases and will be setting up a powerful searching tool for those of you wishing to trawl the forums for your favourite threads.
Can I emphasis that this may not be a permanent change - I'm giving it a fortnight and if there's overwhelming negative feedback I'll look at switching back.
I'm very keen for your feedback - let me know what you think.
just a little thing tama, it would look better (the search box) if you moved it left a little. you know, have a margin with the page edge. nothing major just cosmetic
