Phil had a very bad concussion, but was walking afterwards. In hindsight, training into the step up was not as good idea.

I think the crash would have claimed most bikes. The noise of the impact was sickening. {Crazy}

Phil left his interdimensional transverser at home, so unfortunately he wasn't able to enter a parallel reality and pass through the other rider, and had to brake instead. {Eh?}

the interdimensional transverser is standard on the '06 Demo 15... maybe he could get one of them.

Presumably he will get insurance... he was, after all, just riding along and his bike broke...

good video, too

Is the warranty statement....?

I was just riding along and jumped this kerb to avoid a little old blind lady and her dog and suddenly this happened.

Glad no-one (other than the bike) was seriously injured

My memory has come back now and it was an awesome days riding ! great to see a good crew hittin it up and digging dirt . thanks too all of you for helpn me outa the bush .especially Geoff for driving me to the hospital and Lance for hangin out there for a couple of hours till i could leave . Another reason you should never ride alone !! i was pretty messed up and had no idea what was going on . im a bit battered and brused but no broken bones tho so will be back riding soon as i sort out a bike !!

Go to the top of memorial drive. At the speed bumps at the top there is a gate to the right. Jump over the gate. Ride down the forestry road. Generly the tracks are on the right.

There is a bit on my website about finding the Parahaki trails. They've just started logging, so I'm not sure what its going to be like for the next couple of months.

I'll try to get out on the Thursday ride if I'm in the area at the right time - otherwise I guess I'll just have to go exploring.

Pics in the Gallery are looking pretty good {Double Thumbs Up}
