I'd like to see him royally kcuf himself and munt the jump some more and not fix his doings.
A clairvoyent told me she see's this happening again, and it concludes with a spade to the head administered by angry palmy trailbuilders |

geez, you guys should give trent some slack, im sure you crashed HEAPS of time trying to jumps that were slightly a bit out of your league, and i bet youve damaged others jumps in the progress. did the people that build the jumps give you heaps of tihs instead of giving motivation? instead of threats? |

The issue is not him making a kcid of himself, its way beyond his skill level we all know that one already - namely because that jump has the best run in you could imagine (ie - cleatus and the like are on the brakes sometimes....). Its more the issue of how it affects others.
At the moment theres a bit of conjecture about the safety etc up there and OSH might be going in in the near future. All it takes is some drater axing himself and the guys in Palmy have nowhere to ride...
that and half the wood on the back of the landing is now gone, and the other has sprocket marks in it! |

Well no-one seems to know the exact story, but its in the process of changing hands from the council to a private company (I think its that way around...). Either way last thing Palmy riders need is some grom with a broken neck to make their decisions pretty simple....
Me though, I don't really give a tihs, I'll probably only ride their once more in my life. but theres a bus-full of others who might take a break from track building and dig a hole about 6 foot long, 3 feet wide, and about 6 foot deep  |

Right, to put things back on track a wee bit, currently land is owned by private forestry company, YES k-loop is private land (well the pines side any ways),
-council is in negotiation to purchase, but not likely till at least march / april
-"unsafe" is an interesting word, to those with the ability to ride what is there, its safe as houses, to those who know their limits, its safe (i know at the moment there is no way that I can go anywhere near graveyard), the problem is (1) those who don't know there limits an will try and hit it, (2) those who know nothing and look at things and go wow that looks dangerous
-I would like to ba able to ride there long term ( I think I will be in palmy at least another coupla years now, as I like my job)
-In terms of OSH, if Someone really hurts themselves on something that isn't totally natural and OSH hear about it, land owners could be prosecuted, for having an unsafe environment that the public have acces too (esp as it is a public place by proxy due to the long term lack of gates etc) |
