Mmm...I remember the first day I attempted manuals. With new cleats on my shoes. On concrete. Yes, I fell over the back seat. No, I haven't attempted it again.
I'm reasonably certain that I need to get out for a day and just practice the basics, and it might help alleviating my front-wheel-landing styles...

Use the back brake to get the front down, pumping to get it up and go faster.  |

i had a lot of fun learning to manual, it's definitely worth it - gives you something to do when you're just cruising down a bare road or somewalk or something  |

i pritty shor that if you got good balance then you dont evan need a back brake to do manuals but i gess if ur lerning you might need one...but yeah i got my manuals going real qwick |

one way i got it was just start doing a wheelie/pedla down a slitely slooped hill then when u feel like ur gona foll backwoods put a slite bit of back brake on then lean your AsS off da seat ova the back wheel if eny one has eny atha ways of doing 1 plz say so... |

Its best if you learn to find the balance point without brakes first so that you dont get any bad habits, unless you know that you'll fall on your ass if you dont... ah what the hell do I know, I cant manual either  |

compress front susp, then as it is returning move upper body back whilst kinda thrusting with lower body, and odds on you will have it |
