Hey all

I have to be in Hamilton this weekend for my brothers wedding, but I refuse to let this interrupt my training schedule!

Is there anyone out there who would like to play tour guide on a roadiescum ride on saturday morning? I'm not sure what time exactly (pretty sure the wedding is in the afternoon) but would probably have to be pretty early as I have to get all fixed up and purdy for the wedding (gulp, bridesmaid duty).

If no one is available to ride, can I get some advice on where is best to go and where is best to avoid? I want to do 2-3 hours preferably without getting skittled by a truck (would upset the families immensely what with the wedding and all Oooooooh )

To give you an idea of pace my usual 3 hour ride is around 70 ks involving some reasonable hills. My ride to work is 30 ks on the flat and takes just under an hour.

There is a 100k road race on Sunday morning. South of Auckland north of Hamilton somewhere. Eh?
