Hi guys,
Next Saturday will be our last ride in NZ after 5 months of good times. We leave on the 17th.
We heard a lot about Kiriwhakapapa and we would like to give it a try if anyone is available and keen. Having a guide could help because we don't know the trail.
Cheers.

Sadly I wont be able to make this ride on Saturday. It is a track well worth riding, one I will ride again and again.
Here is a link to a trip we did there last year. It includes a copy of an article Tama wrote for Spoke.
As to needing a guide, it is an easy ride to find. About 10k out of Masterton on SH2 you will see on your left Mikimiki Road and then a couple of k later Kiriwhakapapa Road. The track connects the far end of both these roads. I would recommend going to the Kiriwhakapapa end doing the track there and back.
Once on the track it is a follow your nose, you wont get lost ride.
Giggling good fun for young and old. Enjoy.
And bring back pictures.

The ride is tomorow Saturday may 14th.
Let's meet at 10am at the last Caltex on Highway 2 before the start of the hill over the rimutakas, It's next to a bottle store (how convenient!).
Syadasti and Spacemonkey we could meet at our backpacker in town around 9, we will give you a call tonight.
