Looking at getting some new forks for my sc superlight.Got it narrowed down to 3.
*Rockshox sid team or world cup
*Fox F100
*Marzocchi Corsa Cento
All have the 100mm travel I want.
I ride fairly hard sometimes and my current sids (80mm) just dont cut it.
Any comments would be greatly welcomed.

Still, he does ask which are BEST. Not which are sort of comparable to the best, but cheaper.

I ride a Fox and its great but had a go on a SID WC recently at the Wild Wgtn, very impressed. Especially the damping. When I was riding through rough stuff at speed, it seemed to me a little bit better than the Fox.

IMO the 09 RS Sid is a very good XC fork.
I have it's chubby brother, the Reba SL, which works very nicely.
Personally I prefer the feel of the rockshox over the fox (Just got rid of my 08 F100), but that's just a personal preference thing.
With the sids you're better off getting the bottom model - only difference between them and the next one up is the Blackbox - meaning the damper cartridge is titanium rather than plastic, but that means it's also 25g heavier. The WC model sheds 25g cos it has carbon "Power bulges" (lulz) over the normal flavour.

And trust me - Slacky likes to have his front end nice and stiff!

Wow, you must have a very short steerer to have saved over 100g from a stock fork

When you see the same fork being ridden in world cup XC and 4x, you know they are doing something right...

Rockshox sids!
I ride a reba and really enjoy the ride of it, its perfect for the race and general fast riding that I do.
I don't like any of the fox forks I have ridden, they lack the precise feel of the Rockshox forks.
The rockshox will be a great fork for a race bike, As for what model to go for, that's really down to your own cost vs performance theories.
