Yeah it was Darcy. Said he was 10s faster. Brilliant!! That'd be about right, probly about same same as if he'd bought a Ghibli.

That's what I told David Norton about the difference between his Bora's and his new Ghibli

...but the banshee wail you hear from a Ghibli when its rolling makes it all worthwhile. Used to get quite a doppler effect when Matt Brick went past me on his!

You should try double disc's on a board track. The effect alone must be worth .2sec per km!

Darcy was well chuffed with the effort he put in after taping up that wheel. It looked great. So good to see the number of juniors at the time trial on Tuesday night - numbers have jumped since the amalgamation and good on Dave Norton et al for all the work they do

Yeah it was so legit. If i get 0.625secs per km for 30 dollars. I wonder how much I would get for the price you paid for your disk??
If anyone wants a disk made drop us a wheel off and 60 dollars and you'll be flying. lol
Here is a video of us doing pre testing,

Windy as fek tonight when that Southerly change hit. Right on the nose going out, a real grind. Some sneaky side-on body slam gusts on the corners. On the positive side, got up to 60kmh coming back, but was all over the road on the side gusts. Had to try and change gears on the right lever with my left hand while I steadied the bike with the right. How aero is riding with one elbow down on the pad and one hand out on the bar end? All the sensible people stayed home!

Only a couple more minutes to shave off once you get under 21 mins and you'll be as fast as Wiggins!

Amazing thing about Wiggin"s is that despite being Junior World Pursuit Champ he didn't produce extraordinary power at age 18. About 420watts in a MAP test. At Athens he increased this to 570. They predicted he would need to get to 590 in the test to break Boardman's 4000 mark. Guess that didn't quite happen althouh Beijing is probably not as fast as Manchester.
Old Tai Tapu Rd is a parc course for fast times. Boardman was doing low 17min TTs in England on Dual Carriageways.

The real fast courses in the UK though were pretty smooth and were extremely busy traffic wise, not to take anything away from Boardman et al. If there is a constant stream of traffic travelling past at 60mph it definitely helps, then up the off ramp to turn around and repeat again.

Yeah. You get the same effect on indoor tracks doing efforts when there are lots of people rolling round.
I also see it with the power meter. Power at a certain speed drops by 30-40watts when a truck goes past.
