My plan is to get site set up then leave at 840 zip out to closest hutt south booth and be back by 930am. You are right there is no way we will be able to duck away

Can I heartily recommend double laps? Joel, Tojja and I used that strategy to great effect at the Day Night Thriller last year.

I think the Michael Fowler centre can be used to vote in any electorate in in the Wellington region, plenty of time to get there and back if your team mates are doing double laps.

Also go in the afternoon, booths tend to be busier in the mornings.

And you can vote at any polling booth as a special vote. As an added bonus you get the added drama of knowing that your vote hasn't been counted on the night, and might make the critical swing at the last minute!
