so does this mean that everyone on vorb are both cycling enthusiasts and poor?

judging also from the amount of slick 4wd's at woodhill or hunua in the weekends there must be a tonne of people who carry their bikes around on the back of their range rover. Are these people not vorbies?

or is it that vorbies are in their teens/ 20's and can't yet afford to have slick 4wd's and mint bikes?

or priorites will always mean that bikes are worth more than cars? because if you had the money you would spend it on a trip to whistler or bolivia etc. ?

That's spot on! I will pay lots for a nice bike(s) as I spend a fair bit of time on them and it's a big part of my lifestyle ... but so far my $900 '84 charade has done everything I would want to do in an Audi RS4. Big Grin

Hmmmm

Except pull chicks Blush

so maybe there is something wrong with this logic after all ... Eh?

My bike is worth about 1/3 of what my car is worth but that's only cos I can't afford anything better right now. The next bike I wanna get will be worth about the same as my car (it's insured for $1500) and once I've built up my other bike that will probably be worth the same or a bit more. I have no intentions of upgrading the car unless buying a bike rack counts as an upgrade :P
I'm just addicted to mtbing and cars are for getting places quick and easy.

Mitsi V3000 (goes like a rocket)...Bought car for $800 of some old RSA Type who kept it in pristine condistion.

I used to love V3000's $800 thats cheap.!, actually my favourite car ever was a 1987 Mitsi Sigma GSR-X NZ New, damm quick.

the only thing broke on it is the Air con...which will stay broke..estimated $600 to fix.. Smile
But pretty quick little cars...not that economical tho..

recently stuck on the ass of a late model Holeden SS..chased it from Havelock to Nelson...he couldn't loose me Smile ..he did have better cornering though..all that Race tuned suspension...mind you I know the road real well.
