Swear i saw this roadie coming down Dyers just before Gov'nors- had a tyre or something in his back pocket, the again on Centaurus Rd by St Martins 26minutes later. Crazy Any identical twin roadies around who wear the same gear and ride around with tyres stuffed in their back pockets? Blink

Probbly did what I do and that's a repeat back up Dyers from Gov (14mins), down Dyers (6min) and another few mins to St Martins.

Quite a few people on the townie side with committments do that option instead of SB's as it's a quick hard workout. Smile

[writes another of Al's training secrets down in his diary]
Trouble is he would have passed me if he did that (quite easy as I'm only on 16min pace up Dyers from that side atm), and he was coming from the other direction back towards Colombo. Thats why I coudn't work it out. So either he can do a sub 30min SB's, or I'm going mad. Paranoid
Unless... he was basically right behind me at the roundabout, went straight, then ducked down into Malcom Ave into Eastern tce to Tennyson st and back onto Centaurus to do another hill climb circuit. ...yep got it! mystery solved! even if quite a strange way to go...and I've got a new shortcut( I think?) to work Double Thumbs Up

i went out to do combat with the cars on the hutt motorway yesterday, but ended up being an easy victory. With the roadworks going on, there are sections where you have a whole lane to your self!! outstanding, thats what i call a cycle lane.. wonder if this is all in transits master plan Huh

Go for a ride up into Mesa should be able to get some cool pics from there.
Also a place thats a must is Scottsdale Fashion Square. Its on the corner of Scottsdale Rd and Camelback in Old Scottsdale.
There on the basement level you will find the Yard House. It has around 100 beers on tap. Should take you around 45 mins to complete them all. Wink
Have fun in my former home town
Double Thumbs Up
Make sure you go to a football game. We suck this year and need all the help we can get Blush

Short Bays this morning. First time around either of the Bays since before Winter. Was faster up Dyers than have been this season which was good. Wind down into Sumner was horrible. Feel FoC prospects have improved from a C to a definite C++.

Dyers Score: +7-0
Evans Score: +6-0

A bit windy in places in Barry Richardson memorial today! Not a day for deep dish wheels as some of the gusts before the Ashley Gorge made for some lively experiences for a few Tongue it

125km of nasty hills 2day!
Rode with team warm-up: PMH-gebbies-port levy-gebbies-basdrat-SOK-summit road-sumner-PMH

Solid pace set by the new pro tour team riders, I struggled to hang on up some of the hills, not feeling too flash today. Neub is on good form at the moment don't believe him when he says hes not, sounds like his secret is working Wink

Living in Wellington, with rain and 140+ kph winds today, no riding was done. Am planning on doing my first 100k ride (again) tomorrow, but this time I think I'll make it.

My wife is happy though, cause after 2 years of waiting, the hall way got painted today!

Did mini bergs laps of Huntsbury Hill down Parklands and Hackthorne to MacMillan ave aiming for an hour of power. Didn't happen. On the third time up Hackthorne the lights went out.

Like Neub I have a secret and althought the power wasn't there a few more positive steps towards other targets were made.
