i wouldnt ride with a dodgy writ. it will be far too weak and youl end up mauling it again.

Oh excellent, More stuff to wear out the shutter on the camera and get completely burninated like last year (or add to the burns from Sunday for that matter).

But on the same day as car racing.. EEEK!

Have to leave it up to the weather to decide which event gets shot.

Heh - I like motorsport, but the DH clashes with the drifting - and after taking lots of drifting shots, I have to agree - DH is a lot more fun to shoot.

And drifters seem to be even poorer than DHers if photos sales are anything to go by :-)
