My past experience with a mongoose teocali, which used the freedrive system was great, stiff and strong and a great pedeller(sp?)

My mongy was all good. Never had any troubles with it. The freedrive systems is a great pedalling platform, much the same as a GT i-drive apparently. I would buy another. Don't be scared just because it's a Mongoose... I know a few people who hissed at me for buying one. fUk Da HaYtArz

The freedrive system rocks.
Only issue is they wear the pins on the hot links out but a replacement kit which includes absolutely everything including needleroller bearings is around $120.
I had a Teocali and loved it.
