Pikes are the best trail/AM fork on the market.

I love the pike 454, prefer it to the lifeless feel of a fox any day of the week

sigh (here we go.....)
i can't comment on your regional preferences (it is election year)..but it could be a number of things..1.Blue Shark are down your way 2. Fox do make good forks, and they sure do look flash 3. you mexicans believe Fox is best, the same way you believe Speights is the best beer in world...and so on... Big Grin

I still think Pikes are betterer Double Thumbs Up (so does MBUK and MTB Action...but hey what do they know??) Cheaper and simpler.

come on fight fair the low blow about speights was not called for, we only ship that parc up to the north as a joke.

and i wouldn't trust any thing out of MBA. they market a fork down cause it felt harsh with the lockout on.

and if you open up a set of fox forks they are rather simple and the only oddish tool that i needed to work on the was a thin bladed 14mm open ended spanner.[/b]

Just ride them and decide which you like best. Don't listen to some mag that provide nice reviews to who ever buys the most ad space.

if you pop the circlip off the uturn adjustor you can remove the adjustor (mind the little springs and bbs) and you can tighten up the top of the uturn mechanism. It is a 10 minute job at most.

yeah your right about MBA..they review my bike recently and dissed the rims as one caved in on them...saying they were rubbish...i' ve thrashed mine and still doing strong..they just had a badly built wheel. Sad

yeah Fox make great forks...it was worth the banter.. Tongue it
nice call about Speights...apparently in Hamilton they just re-label the stuff and call it Waikato.
