Na, I got hijacked at the last minute. Ended up at Castlepoint with some friends. It looked like it was raining all day over that area so I imagine it's pretty wet... I'm located in Welly and would love to share a ride out w/ someone if there is any interest in the next couple weekends.

Rode from Kiriwhakapapa end to the top few weeks ago after big storm. There was heaps of branches across trail which we cleared and a big one which we managed to break most off. Did not see on way back and almost got stabbed Oooooooh

DOC have done a big clear out on the first part of trail so wide with no grass etc. It is rough to ride, but won't take long to get smoothed out.

Part of the climb to the top is like a river bed with rocks in the middle of trail where stream was. Makes for loose fun down Crazy

Must go and ride the other (better I think) side soon been a few months Sad
