To register for the series just get in contact with AKDH.
Email Jamie at either of his email addresses: jamie[at]akdh.co.nz or jamieinauckland[at]yahoo.co.nz
I'm sure you can pay the $10 series registration at the next round you enter & possibly collect your series numberplate there as well (unless he posts it out).
To enter the Hawkes Bay Round, just jump onto our website www.hawkesbaymtb.co.nz & click thru from the EVENTS page. You can either download a form or enter online.
We won't be accepting OTD entries, with entries closing on Wed 29 Oct.

Sorry don't have any pics of the Dual Slalom yet.
It's firmly packed & well ridden, so is in good shape.
I believe the only alterations to the DH track is some improvements made by Aari & friends on the bottom section (in the popular trees).
Also the temporary timber bridge we had over the fence into the populars is now gone & a gate has been installed in the fence - which is only open for events.

Just knee armour (plus a full face helmet) is fine as a minimum requirement.
The track is currently dry & fast.
We'll also have a winners cheque for the Fastest Woman & Fastest Male !!!

Entries for round #2 of the AKDH North Island Downhill Series at Eskdale MTB Park, Hawkes Bay, has now closed.
We have 155 entered - with the pre-entry list now updated on the website.
There will be NO on-the-day entries accepted.
A request from the owner of the paddock that will be used for carparking is that all "hoons" are NOT to do any wheelies & that you leave your PIT bikes at home.
If you disrespect the access we have obtained for carparking then we'll lose it !!!
Same goes for the land we access for the event, as ESKDALE MTB PARK is private property. NO DOGS & NO SMOKING.
We have had solid blue sky & warm temperatures all week & all looks good for the weekend.
