if you have nothing better to do,you could get scotty remove 2-3ml of oil from the air spring, it gives the fork a feel closer to that of a coil set.

mine are are floats to Tongue it

its more to to with air spring rather than the amount of air in them.

I had them on 30 psi today and pretty much used all of the travel Blush Have put it up to 40 psi for my next ride so will see how it goes. Makes kinda funny air suctiony noises when it compresses over small bumps but not the larger ones though Eh?

Try 35 first, 30-40psi is a 25% jump up in pressure, thats like eating 100 pies!! Eh?

And on that subject, why does no-one make a fork pump with an uber low pressure gauge on it, one that only goes to 100psi? Eh?
Trying to adjust forks up of down 2psi is a miss and miss affair with a gauge that reads to 300psi!! Angry

I think my manitou SPV one goes to 180, which is quite handy. I never need to put more than about a hundy in my rear shock main chamber anyway.

Yeah Scotty has already offered to play around with the oil levels/weight, etc. Smile The forks were apparently recently serviced, so no idea what oil the previous mechanic put in it.

Oooh I'm still buzzing about how well the Nomad rides downhills! Love

zane and I know the person who's brought your Heckler - it'll soon be ripping up local tracks and making local groms realise 'ride like a girl' isn't a put down but a compliment Double Thumbs Up

weird - I can get that out of mine and I'm much lighter (and much much wussier) than you

however light riders do run into the min pressure at which the travel adjust works - think mine are on 50psi now. The real fix for lightweights is to give up the talas and convert them to vans

they do - it's called a manitou SPV pump, only reads up to 150psi. Absolutely great for forks (as well as spv chambers on shocks) - and comes in racing red! Double Thumbs Up
