Why would you not want to run tubeless?

Any more info?
I don't think they have a tubeless rim
So it's probably just a job of removing rimstrip and Robert's your mum's brother

The rims on your chucker are they stock? If so I highly doubt they are tubeless

The maxxis tires usually work fine with tubeless due to thick and stiff* sidewalls.

Take your tire off and you will see if there is a tube in there...

If not, swap tires over to your minions. Don't do the above before riding to teh bike shop and buying the new tires tho eh.

To put the new ones on and get them to seal well, you need some detergent in a little water and a floor pump. With a scrubbing brush get the bead of the new tires all lubed up with the detergent. fit one bead into the shallow groove in the base of the rim, then the other. Fit the pump and go for it. The detergent should help the tire to bead up onto the grooves in the rim. If not, u might need the shop to do it witha compressor.

Alternatively, if you take the tire off and there is a tube there then...well, all youve got to do is explain to us why there;s milky liquid all over your bike...

I'd love to offer you some help. But as you aren't actually aware what tyres you're running... can I ask you to post a picture of your setup.

And hey, if they're not actually tubeless, we'll have a giggle, but you'll be sorted Smile
