that's because fergs is slow. if you repeat it slowly and carefully (as if you were explaining it to a child) several times, he'll get there eventually.
I'm not gangly at all...

I think some of my ancestors lived there a century back or so - but none that I know of now. Went to a "fun" family reunion when I was a kid - and have vague memories of such things being talked about.

Malcy, short for Malcolm, about the single most uncool name around, but bless my parents, they must've loved me eh? lol
Hell, they gave me 3 christian, and one surname. And all four names are potential christian names!! YIKES!
Anyway, someone ages ago called me Malcy whilst working pubs in the UK and it stuck. Sounds better than Mal I reckon... Dunno

hehe not just first names... but 4 first names.... thats AMAZING!!!!! 
i got mine from my old email address. which i got from my mates from Napier and Auckland when i was like 11. MY names Luke and they just called be Pookie ( luke --> lukey --> pookie) and they called me the pooksta occasionally but yeah. I thought it weas alrite so i changed my email from chick_magnet ( i decided that was gay as i made that when i was 11 and liked the song chick magnet by mxpx a lot at the time. but everyone thought i was just been a kcocy loser). i go the me_3 bit because pookie was taken and so was pookie_me so i decided to make it rhyme and be really gay by making it pookie_me_3.
I didnt really like it when i made my vorb account but i couldnt be assed with having a million user names.
a new one is in the process of being thought of..... maybe Nummy..... I read out a sign in rotovegas going to the secondary school relay champs when i was eyar line which said " nummy takes it up the bum" which was uickly replied by "SHUT UP NUMMY!" by my best mate. it has stuck ever since for the last 5 years where some people now only know me as nummy in the mountain biking scene at school.
And it just soo happened that on the same trip i mooned Kane Armstrong through a window.... the window broke and i now have the scars to prove it.

How lame am I then.....lets see NZ should be pretty obvious. Matto firstname Matt, lastname starts with O nzmatto.
pretty much came up with this when I set up a hotmail account years (and years) back. have retained it ever since and use it on a whole host of 'non secure' websites. pretty much if you see something with nzmatto on it, then it is probably me.
My biggest problem is that I have about a hundred different passwords for what is essentially the same account name.....still I have a list, so it works for me.
I feel so lame.....I used to work in a freezer and got the name snowman, maybe I could have used that....oh well....

So is there any significance in the fact that this thread started before my user name ever came about ? Probably not
I became pedalingkiwi purely because I was trawling mountain bike review (mtbr) website - learning about bikes / suspension in 05 before buying my MKIII - and wanted to give myself some kiwi identity amongst all those yanks. It was only after that I got into vorb-ing, and like many others couldn't be bothered thinking up a new name / identity ..... it's a bit naf, but hey it's only a moniker
