Feel like your car is bringing the environment down?
Want to green your ride this summer?
Cycle to work on Tuesday 11 November and join us for a free breakfast, music and festivities at Green My Ride.
This will be your chance to: Swap your car for a brand new bike and sleep easy knowing you are doing your bit for the world.
Five lucky winners will swap their old cars for brand new Avanti bikes with commuter kits so you are ready to ride. Cars must have a WOF and registration in order for you to swap them they will then be taken to be recycled.
OR
pmip my Bike - we will transform your bike into a cyclist's dream.
To register send us a link to your YouTube page or email us and tell us why we should swap your car for a bike, or pmip your bike. Get creative this is a sweet deal! entries close: Thursday 6 November 5pm.
Email your entries to: leanne.parsons[at]wcc.govt.nz and we will post them here for the world to see!
Winners will be notified prior to the event and announced at 8am at Green my Ride.
This is a Green Event, please ensure that you reduce, reuse, recycle and use sustainable transport where possible.
