But the actual "shooting" part is a bit sad.

What exactly is wrong with the shooting? Most critics thought it was solid if not spectacular.

It's probably just me taking time to get used to it, but it's quite a challenge to get accuracy. Part of it's probably the enemie's AI, which is pretty bloody smart - the buggers never sit still, and try and sneak up on you, basdrats. I'm usually not shabby at 1st person shooters - more often than not hitting head shots from the word go, but with this one it's a mission. Given the dark, gloomy atmosphere sighting is a challenge in itself. I could describe it as "jerky" too.

I might need to play about with the settings to see if I can reduce the "jerkiness".

Feels like it's going to be one of those games that gets better the more you delve into it.

What is cool though, is being able to "hack" security systems, and "bots", turning them into your allies. Nothing more satisfying than hacking a security camera ( that, when triggered, unleashes flying, machine gun equipped bots), then finding a group of baddies, getting them to chase you into the room with this camera, which of course they then set off, then sitting back and watching a bunch get nailed without yourself expending a single bullet, which are a precious commodity.

I assume you're playing it on PS3? I'll have to pick it up and see how it compares to the 360 version.

Fable 2 tomorrow !!! woot, and there is no option for it cause this threads for PS3'ers, who don't get to play awesome games like Fable, and are only just getting Bioshock now after the more superior 360 users have already played it Tongue it

And E Dogg, I also thought that the shooting was pretty good on 360

I generally enjoy that kind of game, but I found fable really overrated. Be interested to see how the followup is.

I'm just watching the vid for LittleBigPlanet. When first reading the reviews, I wasn't convinced. But watching the video, it's changing my mind. Looks like it could be played endlessly.

Still, bring on GT5!! 900+ cars, and the ability to thrash the top gear test track. Yes plz.

It'll be interesting to see how accurate lap times for various cars will be.

Also I think there is going to be clutch support in GT5 for those fancy steering wheel set ups that have a clutch.

Fable was poo. They blatantly lied about features. Promoted stuff that wasn't even close to being in the game.
