Used the shuttle service today. It was great. So much easier and cruzier than taking a car.
I was pretty let down to see how many people were still shuttling today when there was heaps of space on the bus. Would of been good to show a little more support if people want this service here to stay!

Hmmmmmm - five days notice and did they advertise anywhere but Vorb ?
Most of the Groms probably didn't even know it was running .
I have a feeling that 5 days on vorb is enough for most to txt their mates and tell them. Most people who would have like to know did know about it, but the $30 for 6 runs price wasn't too appealing even though it was a one-off trial price. I'd definately been keen to use it when the 100 card thing comes out

Many thanks to Jeff and the other driver (apologies I didn't get your name) - your shuttles make riding the hill easy & enjoyable. Show up, throw the bike on the trailer, get on the bus, enjoy the ride up and try not to kill yourself on the way down!!! And then do it all again !!!!! All without the hassle of shuttling cars or one of the team sitting out a ride to drive the car.
Keep up the great work and hopefully this becomes a permanent service, not just a trial!

I believe and e-mail was sent out to Gravity Canterbury members earlier in the week, the Vorb newsletter went out to 8,500 recipients on Thursday with a blurb about it and here there's been 1,500+ views on Friday, 2,500+ views on Saturday, 3,500+ views today - lots of people knew about it
Anecdotally a lot of people seem to be hanging out for the 100 uplift pass. It would have been incredibly ironic if everyone took that position, no one had turned up and Southstar had pulled the plug for another city.
Luckily there has been enough interest and Southstar Shuttles will be going ahead in Christchurch

Awesome. I hope people get out and support this. My experience with Southstar on Saturday was really excellent. I plan to use them throughout the Summer.
