Besides the fort nightly club rides and all the races in the area there seems to be a serious drought of riders on the trails though hundreds turn up to the major events,

Riding on my own is getting hard to do everyday and is proving to be unmotivational after doing it for a year. if there are any fairly quick XC trail riders looking for a person to ride with anytime i'm keen. I'll ride almost anything that is do-able and am quite a quick all round rider.

There are definitely rides happening. Attend some dig days at Wainuiomata or Makara Peak and you'll soon meet people who ride often. They might even invite you on rides.

Hi Charlie Smile

Myself and a few others are heading out for a ride on 29 Dec. Prob something like Karori Sanctuary, Red Rocks, Long Gully, Deliverance, Salvation, Sanctuary (Goldmine).

I see you are looking for fairly quick XC rides. There is a chance we might be able to offer you a suitable outing.

Fire me a PM or reply here if you are keen. Prob around a 9am start. It's to build up some appetites before a family BBQ.

Cheers
Davo
