I have noise cancelling headphones-sanyo earmuff type-still heaps off wind noise though.

Unless they're closed back cans, you'll get a lot of wind noise. Ear muffs won't do much to stop wind nose. Ear plug styles might - but remember, you won't hear a dodgy noise coming from the bike... Huh

Or me screaming up behind you wishing you could hear me so you would get out of the way!! Hmmmm

If it helps JBL do some spank'n ones and the outter cable is thinly woven climbing cord, means you won't wreck the cord if pulled by accident. Expesive though, you can fine them at most Apple store, but they rock

I got my smoking buds from the CD/DVD store in westfield lower hutt. Harvey Norman have them for the same price too.

If you want better quality sound again you could always go for the full metal jackets which are the next model up at $80.... they also come in a spanky carbon look!
