Hey Guys,

Long time reader, first time poster...

I got a question, I was trying to find the 661 gear they used to have on krankin.co.nz but they seem to have dropped that section, and was wondering if there was any places online that you guys know of that have cheap gear, the shops here seem to hike the price quite a bit...

Mainly looking for DH helmets and Chest armour...

So like the URLs fly...

Cheers in advanced...

You really need to try the stuff on. If it doesn't fit it's gonna be uncomfortable and could move during a crash. Sizing table aren't always that accurate.
In saying that try Burkescycles.co.nz

Seconded - especially helmets as heads can be such varied sizes and shapes. If you want to go online for armour there's a good selection of online stores here: http://www.vorb.org.nz/about-supporters.html - many of them sell armour.

Yeah, I've been into the bike shops and have an idea of the sizes I would need in the different brands, just dont want to purchase from there as I'm not keen on paying $669 for some bodyarmour... (tight ass i know, lol)

For helmets you really need to try them on. Some mediums crush my skull while others are a perfect fit. For armour, not so much.
I'd say go into a bike shop and try on some helmets and if you're good to them they might be able to give you a little discount.
