This Leaderboard compares times on the main climbs of our local training grounds. The sum total of all the times give your overall ranking.
A rating is given to sort riders who haven't completed all climbs, 100 = average, 120 = 20% faster than average, 85 = 15% slower than average.
Rider ratings only count when 5+ climbs have been completed (for accuracy reasons), however I have shown them for sub 5 climb riders as an indicator.
A registered time has to be in neutral conditions, i.e. no tailwind or draughting.

OK, so I suppose I reluctantly have to post my times now, next to Al's...
But I can only get better eh? Probably like most people I haven't got 'sprint' times for all of the climbs, as some are only done as part of longer rides.
At least I have a relatively stong climb in Mt Pleasant, where the time diff isn't quite so devastating, I hit Mt P more than anything else as it is my convenient entry point to the hills.

Yes, Al has set the bar for the rest of us, no surprise really, unless there are any other takers..?

Mt Pleasant Rd - 19m45 (seldom ride it - that time was 3 years ago duelling with cavie up it mid-winter)
Kiwi - trouble is my pb's are via hackthorne, not dyers - so it's arguable to whether they compare. Last season's PB was 17m05 - haven't been up it on the roadie this season yet (been putting in the hard yards on the mtb), reckon I'd be lucky to go sub-19 at the mo

New time #6 Summit road: Evans pass to Mt Pleasant 15:14
Not sure how the 'Magpie interval' near the top effected things - the extra adrenelin was good but swerving all over the road with one hand waving around was not

So, Ahad sits comfortably in 2nd slot
Hmm, how about some more at the southern end of the table

Rode home the long way today so figured I may as well do a timed run up climbs 7 and 8. Don't have any other times to report yet but climb 7 to Gebbies crest was 5 min 53 sec and climb 8 from cattlestop to cattlestop was 15 min 53 sec. Bizarre how both ended in 53 seconds but I assure you my stopwatch does have the capacity to stop in another 59 places each minute. Will report the rest once I get round to doing them.
Pretty blustery up on top this arvo. Then had to pedal like mad al the way down dyers to get any sort of speed up. But heading out to Motukarara was a hoot

Don't worry, it might take a few months before I take the roadie down the other end of the Port Hills
I'll try to do today's ride in reverse sometime soon and get a time for heading up Dyers and maybe the other side of Gebbies but I'm unlikely to do Evans or Mt P until I start training for the Coppermine next year.

Nice one XCguy
Table updated with a second table for those with under 5 climbs - come on XCguy and Danose - just 3 more climbs to make it onto the big boys table

You know that pressure like that is going to make me want to take the skinny wheeled bike out at the weekend rather than the real bike. And that's just not right!
EDIT: I just realised I am in front of danose on the little boys table. Ha ha, he's gunna hate that! He'll be posting a long list of times tomorrow

New PB's for 1, 2 and 5 recorded during Grading ride race yesterday.
Race finish line stopped a bit short of evans pass top so added 10sec to Lyttleton-Evans time.
So mfw might be looking at moving up a place if the progress continues
And even Al_Bushmans Lyttleton-Evans time could be within my reach on fresh legs, performance enhancing drugs and a howling tailwind
