One thing that would be good to see is proper armoring just at the end of each bridge/cattle stop etc.

Basically riding a suspension bike off a wooden structure will eventually create a hole just behind the structure (unless every person jumps off the structure). It is caused by the suspension doing what it is supposed to and trying to keep the wheel in contact with the ground. Popping of the end of a bridge there will always be a "compression zone" which will lead to the trail tread being worn away.

It would be good to see some rocks put into the trail surface to armour these points rather than having to come along and fill the holes all the time.

The cattle stop at the start of flow (just before the creek gap) is a classic example of this.

Most likely smoothed out so that bandanna wearing XC guys on their red hard tails who leave 40 foot skid marks down the switchbacks on gums can get through there without getting off!

thankfully I don't own a red bike (and I do know how to actually rail a berm properly) Tongue it

those roots at the top of flow were hilarious (especially in the wet) - and there was a nice big soft gorse bush to land in if it all went tragically wrong Double Thumbs Up

I loved those tree roots, nothing like slamming though them at warp 7.8, while thinking "Hope my front wheel doesnt fold right now, that would be uncomfortable!!". Big Grin

Lets remove all rocks and roots on bridges, put ramps onto the bridges in the uphill directions, carpet the track and put "Uphill Only" signs in so maybe Danose will stop complaining about it!

Double Thumbs Up Double Thumbs Up Tongue it

actually I miss the offcamber roots just over the top bridge - it's too bloody smooth/boring up there now (I presume it was smoothed out so nancy boy DHers can carry more speed into creek gap Tongue it )

Muz took to the roots so it was safe to get power carriers down to repair Flow. There were a lot of unhappy people about that.
