fark thats an old photo there tripler, the vorb scenehas diminished somewhat after mark left the area, the majority of the riders on Parahaki is DH/DJ/Freeride people but the big group of riders don't actually know about this site and all the stuff we are trying to get of the ground. We (the small build Crewthat we have left from the session northland group ) have got on side the Parahaki MTB club and are mixing with them to combine tracks etc, as for building bikes you may be on your own on that one i haven't known anyone to be build like that, only the young ones build ing up their DJH rigs etc, as for me im into the freeride stuff or superfast smooth DH but over winter have just been concentrating on builds (so i dont have to wash my bike so much) to get the track numbers up so people dont' get bored with the hill and go somewhere else............and i think most of the talking does go on in the Parahaki Forum to as weel as stuff for Glenbervie forest now (as you have probably figured out)

I must admit I do forget about the para forum abit,I work on sundays so miss out on the build sessions which in turn means I miss out on meeting new people(no excuse tho)plus I am a committed daddy of four which also takes meet and greet time away, rideing buddy gone to oz,the list goes on,when I do get the chance to go up the hill I am amazed at the trail building that goes on and the commitment that you all have so that all can enjoy,my hats off to you, even tho I am probly only just about above average rider and not hard into DJ/DH.I am into all disiplines/ganre's of bikes and putting out the feelers to see what else the Whanga guys and girls are into,I got a newbie to take up the hill so should start meeting people again,I will be the old guy on the DB V-link yyyeeeeaaaarrr old skool rocks................O.K O.K I'm going....catch up

Hey Trippler, people been asking who put the ghost bikes up,good to see and a reminder of the poor attitudes towards cyclists that alot of other road users have.Very sad that anyone has to loose there life doing something they love.Keep to the dirt an you only have to worry about youself. Is this Ryan?
