This is the pilot episode for Vorb TV. Vorb TV will be a weekly web video show running this summer featuring cycling news, events, and riding. Vorb TV will be put together by Toby from NoEsc Productions.

The pilot is an example of what the show will be like (we know the race footage is 10 months old) but we are keen to hear your feedback. We have a bunch of cameramen sprinkled across New Zealand so aim to bring quality stories and riding from around the country.

And yes I know my no-riding-over-winter lard is on show for all to see, but I'm working on that {Wink}

Vorb TV will start in November, with a new show released mid week, every week. Feedback is appreciated. The Bowenvale Jumpathon footage is from Sketchy Lines

Music is from Ugress: http://www.ugress.com (free mp3 downloads on their website.)

We've had pin hole cameras set up round your house for months so you'll be starring in your own segment very soon {Smile}

This is a really good idea. Looking forward to watching future episodes. The microphone looks like a large, grey candy floss though.

Our theory is that some people might want to watch each show twice - first off to see the action, second to read the text - or vice versa.

The other option is a voice over which I'm generally against because:
a) It could be distracting
b) Voice overs are often a bit cheesy
c) I'd have to do the voice over {Tongue it}

If you guys have any ideas on how to improve the scrolling text (placement/ contrast/ speed etc.) we'd love to hear them {Smile}

screw the races. go hard on local trails and maybe do some specials on epic rides around nz, like all that single trail in the rimutaka range area(3 sisters etc). That would be wicked. Nice job though.

The botty grinder would win it every week, in that case.
