Hi there,

Where can I get some large sheets of plastic that are flexible? What I'm looking for is the same sort of stuff as Ice cream containers are made of... No i'm not putting it ontop of my mattress, I'm trying to made my newly acquired 'Yamaha Mint' look a bit 'Minter' as the plastics are beaten up, and i just need to cover a few holes.

Any ideas?

That isn't going to make it look much if any better. Thats just going to make it look like you haven't any money.

Either get new/second better condition plastic parts or find someone that repairs farings etc... to do the job. IMHO

Yamaha Mint = Scooter, should have made that clear. It looks mank as it is. haha it's got duct tape and zip ties holding it together, and because it isn't some chinese made junk scooter, theres barely any parts around for them that I can find. There are some plastics on trademe, and they are from a 'Mint' but it looks as though they are from a different model. Has anyone got a Yamaha Mint (scooter - for smart asses) that they are wrecking and have good plastics on? Screw taking it to a fiberglasser, big waste of money on a $300 scooter, I'll just leave the zip ties and duct tape on it. Ghetto = Better.

{Posted via mobile.vorb.org.nz} make up your own body kit for it when you fins some, I suggest fashioning it after the space shuttle, then painting it white & black to add the finishing touch

I have been known to fix motorbike plastics using araldite on the back with some light wire across the cracks to reinforce them. Any gloo that oozes through the cracks just cut it back flat with a knife.

Not perfect, but better than trying to find good ones for less than an arm or a leg, and nicer than duct tape.

Yeah that's not a bad idea. the only prob is that some of the plastic is missing. So i'm trying to cover the wholes. It doesn't need to look flash, If anything I'm trying to extract the urine.
