From what I understand the scrumpy or flat cider is the hippy one 'get off mye land' stuff from a barrel. You can only use apples that haven't been sprayed. Thankfully mine are el natural. Wink
The Campden tablet kills any yeast apparent on the skin of the apples. I am going to buy a wine homebrew kit to use the yeast. Now I am going to hunt out some containers and a vapor lock. As for the flat cider and bubbly cider, I will need to source some small containers that can handle 2 atmospheres that I can reseal. Otherwise its flat
