It sure aint that pretty but i thought it might be of interest to some. No brake bosses yet cause im a bmx noob and not sure where to put them yet. Geometry is probably out enough to make it ride like a wounded donkey but hey. And it doesn't have much tire clearance...
I just need to find another chromoly frame to cut up, or maybe even hi ten for my first attempt.
Made in solidworks and badly rendered in 3ds max with vray

Agreed.

Did you use weldments? If you did fillet the corners where the chain stays meet the BB shell.
You should build it!

I used weldments on 3ds if thats what you meant, i think thats what i did. Or it might have been smooth angle.

Yea, i suppose you do have a point with it to guard the axle threads. I just think it would look cleaner and people who dont run pegs at all might prefer it without the guard.

But thats just my opinion. Big Grin

Yeah mite get rid of the guard eh. My first frame will probably end up being cut up again anyway.

What are you using for a reflection map? Interesting lighting too, looks HDRIish.

You really need to put an angle on the seat tube, it looks vertical and odd. Have you got the rear wheel spacing a 110? that might be the reason for the tire clearance. Sort some geomtery out, and you have a reasonable design there. BUT, Whats worth having on that frame that isnt already been thought of/on the market already?
