Should sell I think.

I nearly bought the top anthem a few years back.
It was so dirt cheap that even me being a 14 year old at the time was able to afford it!
In the end though I decided against it because I hated the shimano parts especially the XTR brakes that didn't do much to stop me from speed.

I would probably buy one now that they have ditched the shimano and gone for all avid and SRAM.

Yep probably will,

The Anthem LTD the current top model is all XTR, I dont know what people have against it, XTR shifts real nice and lasts.
I swapped out the SRAM X0 rear on my new Anthem XO for XTR, I like the shifters better as I can change up with my forefinger OR thumb, the SRAM feels clunky when it shifts.
But both are great systems and neither will give you much trouble in the long run.

If you swap stuff when you purchase the bike it should be about the same price.

Oh dear lord, some of you people have no idea... Laugh Out Loud

I wish I could be bothered doing the reasoning and dispel some of the myths but it's all been covered before on vorb... somewhere.

Anyway, I thought THIS was an interesting stat:

It has a three percent share of the biggest bicycle market in the world, China.

Does anyone do "test" rides of the Reign/ Trance in CHCH?

I'm considering a new dually for the summer - but want to try it first.

just go test ride a Commencal meta 5.5 or 6 - if you're going to do it do it properly (and there's demo commencals around unlike giants) Satan

or the plethora of Santa Cruz toys!!! between Pivot, SC and Commencal their range seems far from basic! Oooooooh

think the demo bike is a meta 666 - so very squishy, but not such a pure trail bike as a meta5, but would give you a good idea of what the snail's ride like

My guess is that will change very soon with the exchange rate now down to .63.

Prices will be going up. Satan
