Maybe we should be leashing the goats while we're at it, I nearly ran into one of those yesterday too. Laugh Out Loud

If we leash each one we see, it'd make it easier to "catch" them later Sly

Yeah, I know who he was as well, I know the dog too. Wink

He was just hanging out with his mutt on a day when there wasn't much traffic in the park.

Meh, I'm not really stressed either way. It was my wife that got bitten but you don't see me jumping on the anti-dog wagon.

Like I said, council policy dictates what happens, so it's not like anything that's said on here makes a difference.

I'm not jumping on an anti-dog bandwagon, I was trying to clarify what the deal is. If there is a thread and the outcome of that is that unleashed animals aren't allowed, then why should this guy get away with it any more than anyone else? If the rules are there aren't they there for everybody?

Also the way his dog was running around the skills area was annoying, certainly uncontrolled and I'd go so far as to say downright dangerous for others - my boys certainly didn't want to ride there because of it, which is something they usually look forward to after the climb.

Who is this guy that his dog walking should impact on other legitimate park users?

The deal is that you can't have unleashed dogs in the park, so you are well within your rights to tell him to ssip off.

If the dog was being a pain in the esra and i was in a similar situation, I would've been doing the same. Smile

But if I see a dog unleashed in the park and it's not causing hassles, it generally doesn't bother me... unlike some clowns I come across who see it as some personal affront.
