A work collegue of mine was the one who got the plate number - will check tomorrow and see if he has heard anything.
The annoying thing is that another collegue was going past the Mana Shell station heading South about a month ago when some idiot side-swiped him (hard enough to smash the car mirror) and kept on going.
He got the plate and laid a complaint with the police but has heard NOTHING to date. And yet every morning as I drive along the motorway from Wgtn to Porirua (against the major traffic flow) I see the "quota Police" sitting on their butts looking to catch "evil" speeders doing 110km/h.
Says something about priorities ........

I have an idea.
In the instance above when despite a plate number and an incident, nothing happens. Why don't we get the involved to circulate the case number/details and we can all phone to kcollob the police about it.
I would be keen.
kcollobing people is like crack to me.

I think you can get an address from a Rego Number. I think even online if you say you are selling or buying the vehicle, or relicensing or something

The cyclist is a workmate of mine. He suffered bruising and a broken bike.
Apparently daddy made the driver of the car present herself to the police station.

"Daddy" should get the little brainless twurp to read this thread and learn how much of an esra he is.
Rule 1.....Stop at the scene of an accident. Not doing so will ALWAYS cost you more in the long run.
Glad to hear the riders OK, when it all comes down to it, that is what is important.

Pleased it was only minor injuries, hope there are no lasting physcological scars.
I know that junction but its normally the other one that gets me of the two, the one closer to the shell garage with the give way sign that most drivers seem to ignore. Almost got caught twice there neither of the drivers even moved there heads to look right and drove straight through the give way.
