Been up Fireball and rode Turner Trail and Dead Dog. Cut some windfall between the two.
Mite be some of the last oportunities to do these legendary trails as roading work is under way for logging in the vicinity of Tantragee saddle.

Took my two eldest sons up Koru and down Lazy Fern this evening. Not a long ride, but it was great fun.

Went up St Albans, down Lazy Fern, up Salvation, and down Scout Hall on the way to work this morning. Then rode Mt Vic this afternoon after work. What an awesome day!

Koru->Skills Area->Sick Hucks->4WD Track->Ridgeline->Swigg->Starfish->Koru->Skills Area->More Sick Hucks->Livewires->Epic spill on the easiest bit of it wtf
Was hooning along the flat-ish straight bit of it, after where the easy bit joins up again with the 'difficult' bit. Bike just stops. I do an epic skorpiang onto my back and crack the back of my helmet Looking back up the track I don't know wtf I hit to make my bike just stop. Think it was the straw that broke the camels back helmet wise, I've had that helmet way too long and crashed onto it too many times.
First time I've actually ridden ridgeline in the dry, silly fast (well, by my standards) on a DH bike in that condition.
Now I'll have to wear my fullface when I go up Mt Vic tomorrow and look like a mong

Hataitai to Owhiro Bay and Happy Valley Road, Tip Track Seal to Seal in less than 30 minutes then back down to Stock Yard and back to Happy Valley road via Bata (surprised to find gate closed there).
Lunch at The Bach then up the Tip Track again (beer and food slowing me down) to Wind Turbine, down Car parts for the first time (nice track) then Sanctuary Fence Line, Aro Valley and back to Hataitai with a stop over at On Yer Bike.
