You might want to change those cranks, The carbon FSA cranks a notorious(sp) for develping movement between the crank arm and spindle.

Are you not thinking of Mega Exo Cranks, these are not Mega Exo cranks.

My FSA carbon track cranks, ones that came on the fuji track pro, and all my mates who have owned a pair of them have developed play between crank arm and spindle.

They are parc end of story. Your far better of with a nice alloy crankset.

Are you sure the spider isn't just loose?

More than like it is. It still shouldnt of happen if they are made properly and shouldnt be so widely spread.

I am going to be looking for an FSA dealer to see if they can tighten them before i sell them. If its happened once its going to happen again.

With a bit of loctite and the correct torque value you shouldn't have any problems. They're easy to tighten though, all you need is an eight notch bottom bracket tool.

Although the key slot often develops play if they loosen. This means locktite may work, but it's a compromise.

And then some guy I raced with years ago brings one into the store to get kitted out and set up:-)

Very nice bike. Only mods were to put some Tufo C Jet Special Tyres which you can pump harder than the 120 psi recommended for American Classic wheels.

Drilled for front brake but not rear but making a bridge is not difficult.

This customer will get some more hardcore wheels for racing big events. I was thinking Grammo 88s seeing riders like Justin Grace and Glen Thompson use them. Tubs for racing on ILT where we run 220psi.
