I'm up for building now as the soccer season is over. Riding there yesterday, the berm going into double drop needs a little bit of repair.

Good!! we need as amny hands as we can muster! Berm into double drop is getting fixxored next dig day.

Gums seems alright to me?

My list at the moment is (in no particluar order):

fix double drop corner 1 dig day
Buff bridges and fill hole between bridges .5 dd
Buff Brents 1 - 1.5 dd
armor flow again 1 dd
Overhaul ponos especially stepdown 1-2 dd
Apparently there is some major work down lower tits. slip or somthing 1-2 dd
Upper tits could do with a spruce up and a bit of a re-align 1 dd
Break-free needs work 1 dd. May get sorted by other
Helping with other building projects going on 2-3 dd
rebuild texaco 1 dd

There is probably others that need attention too. That there is a whole years work we need to get through in 4 months.

Yea i will probably be bringing 1 or 2 friends each time depending if they can. We are all hard workers. Smile Double Thumbs Up

Im not a hard worker but I have alot of friends that are willing to help, theres about 10 of us and we didnt know that it was normal people that built the track. Fantastic work guys............. Give me a shovel!!!!!!! (We thoght it was P.D Workers Oooooooh When can we help

Rangers station is just below the jump park or skidder site in vic park. You can access it by walking out of the jump park or off the road heading up the hills...

What is the plan for double drop? Without being too hard on the guys that have done work down there, every rebuild seems to last for less time... Last time definitely slowed it down but maybe all the lines crossing and logs etc is too complicated?

Brents seems to have rectified itself again. Ponos, pylons and the line down to texco could do with some loving. They are a good DH line but at the moment are just parc!

Whats the plan for texco? I hope it isn't going to end up with a big kicker? It is nice to still have one old school jump up there that those of us who like hitting safe repeatable jumps still have balls to do...

Hahaha, we have been asked if we were on PD by walkers a few times!!!

If the tracks are built by riders, they end up better and the riders look after them because they start to understand the work it takes. The new track from brake free-jump park has now consumed an estimated 500 man hours, so good tracks take LOTS of work.

Anyways, the point is the more hands the better... Come along, bring all your mates, even your mum and have some say into the tracks you ride...

Amen to that. If texco gets turned into something like the 40, where's the intermediate jump going to be? there'll be nothing between b-line, and some massive throw-you-into-the-air-and-probably-over-your-bars-onto-your-head DJ style huck thingy O.o

Whenever you guys are intending on doing up brake free or working on the new gummies line below it, make sure you post it on vorb - i'll try get a few mates together to come and help

We are working on the "new gummies" (name yet to be decided) track on tuesday night, thursday night, saturday and sunday every week. Although we have done a little less lately as it has been nice to actually do some riding again! We are on a bit of a mission to get that track completed and open before summer but there is still quite a bit to do to make it more durable...

Would be nice if the boys would get into brake free and get it sorted before the clay gets too dry to work... Its almost at that stage up there now!

texco is going to be turned into a jump that everyone can ride and will challange everyone. We just need about 100 cube of clay down there.

Speaking of clay, there has been some dumped down there for the next dig day which will be on hospital corner. I think anything new there is going to be needed to be rebuilt a few times before it solid.

It'd be nice to have a jump before the texco closer to the cave drop. B-line is too small as it is now. I'd be quite keen to build a decent huck drop as washout is a bit small (double drop?).
I may come up and help this saturday and help, is it byo tools?

There is always that huck drop in nationals if you find washout too small. Not really allowed to make double drop any harder as it interescts a major shared use track relativly blind.

Generally tools are provided by the Rangers Double Thumbs Up If you happen to have favorite digging implements then by all means bring them along.

Not sure what is going on this Saturday... I know quite a few people are working not in vic park this saturday and the weather is forecast for rain. I believe there is some XC track work scheduled for Sat? We will probably be up doing a bit of work on Sun on the track by gums...
