Calendar Event: September 26, 2008

As cycling is the new golf we need to take the opportunity to network while enjoying each others company in the beautiful Taranaki countryside. The Friday afternoon "Business Cycle" aims to facilitate business-ish networking while riding bikes.

This is unashamedly a networking opportunity, but you will need to be able to stay upright on your bike for about 1.5 hours, and talk at the same time. The ride will always be in the range of 1.15-1.45 and once a month (the fourth Friday) will include a lunch at the end (at riders own cost).

The details are:
When: Fridays
Time: Ride at 1pm
Where: Meet at the old Venture Taranaki building in Molesworth St (we will depart at 1.05pm sharp) and finish at the clock tower (or lunch venue once a month)
Ride: About 35kms with 2-3 ‘peel out’ options if anybody has to get back early or is struggling (target time around 1.5 hours)
Requirements: Ability to complete the ride, add to the conversation and have a bit of fun (non-competitive of course!)

The ride will not be cancelled due to inclement weather or any other reasons. We are all grown ups and if you want to ride in the rain, others may or may not be there to join you.

Feel free to invite others who would add value to this networking opportunity and we can see this grow to be significant for your business and for the strength of the Taranaki business community.
