Talented BMX rider Tim Hales died of a yet to be diagnosed medical condition while riding out to get food on Sunday night, we have not got any more details. Tim represented New Zealand in Street BMX at X-Air.

His brother is my good friend and neighbour.
He was a super styly and talented rider, and an all round real good chilled out dude. Such a shock to hear about this. My condolences go out to all the family.
Surely this deserves to be home paged?

What can you say when such a talented friend is taken from this world.
Tim was a super nice guy who loved to ride and was a pleasure to be around. He always had a smile on his face.
I am proud to say that he was a mate and will always remember him for his sense of humour and style. On and off the bike.
