just a big THANKS to the Cheviot Lions for running such an awesome event yesterday.

if you missed it , you missed a good un !

i personally did the sport - 3 laps of about 7 k each over every surface imaginable from mud thru wet long grass onto hard pack clay and up hill and down hill some slightly technical bits - don't think i could have done another lap actually.

I hope this becomes an annual event and i hope next year I'm a bit faster :-)

Great track from what I saw of it. A bit of everything. Decided in advance not to ride and support son who rode the 21km 21km 3 lap race, but once got there really wished I'd taken my bike. Certainly hope it's repeated next year.

but yes it was a great track and all but they seem to be letting themselves down on a fantastic event by being a bit slack on posting any results anywher that i can find on their website or anywhere else.

Agreed, I've been checking everyday and nada. No email either. However it might take them up to a week to get them up based on other community run races I've done.
