Help please. I recently brought some new Vesrah pads for my BB7's, which was all good until they started to shudder when under load I didn't have a problem with the stock Avid pads, which made me think I may have installed the new ones incorrectly, so I reset them but to no avail.
Any help on how to remedy this would be great. Cheers

I've got the same issue with Juicy 5s.
I recall a thread on here about it but can't find a cure.
Any help would also be appreciated.

I had problems with noise etc on my juicy 5's with the stock pads. They are very good with the Vesrah pads.
I think I also put an extra washer underneath the brake caliper (to make it sit out slightly further on the disc) as the pads were grabbing on the arms of the disc and sitting it out by a couple of mm's more stopped it doing this.
You could both try this?

Meh - mine work fine, so it doesnt bother me.
Seems that every time someone is after a simple fix to what could be a simple problem - people tell them to go buy new gear
Just pointing out that there are many reasons why this may not be practical

Yes, why replace when you can repair? Save the $$$ for when you really need it...

that happend with my avids
if u look at any avid caliper on the mount they will have spacers underneath
if teh caliper is braking on the arms of the disk it may make a bubbling sound

I thought I had a serious problem with my back brakes when they wouldn't stop making a skwarking noise and shuddering everytime I went to stop. (I had recently had the pads/pistons replaced). Turned out the quick release had come undone and I hadn't noticed
Is your wheel wiggling left and right?

Cheers for the advice everyone. Will have to have a tinker with the spacers and see if that helps. I checked my wheels were on tight, just to be sure.
