If your thinking of going for a ride with your dog have a read

Quote:
Hello all,

Poisoning of possums in Riverhead forest starts this week.

Poison (Cyanide paste) will be laid in flower pots to the side of roads and tracks.

There will be two 'layers' of signage, the first being at the forest gate and the second being at the perimeter of the area being poisoned.

Pre-baiting using a flour paste may be throughout the forest.

Please do not touch anything unusual.

I think the point Ryan was making is more that dogs can't read and they like touching unusual things. You would HOPE most mountain bikers are smarter than dogs.
